Department of Plant Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture conducted an awareness program for farmers of the Bandarapuliyankulama on “Crop Clinic”. The program was held on 15th of May, 2023 at the Faculty Auditorium. The event was funded by AHEAD DPS project of Faculty of Agriculture.
Famers were provided with the knowledge and practical experience on rice diseases, diseases of fruits and vegetables, management of pests and diseases of field crops, fruits, vegetables, weed management, nutrient management, identify and management of postharvest diseases, pesticide application. And also, the staff of department of Plant Sciences shared their research findings with the farmers.
