The Faculty of Agriculture, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, held its inauguration ceremony for the 2023/2024 undergraduate intake on June 3, 2025, at the Faculty Auditorium. The event was graced by Dr. Janaka Pushpakumara, Vice Chancellor of the University, and Professor G. V. T. V. Weerassoriya, Dean of the Faculty, along with the Deans of all six faculties, the academic staff of the Faculty of Agriculture, and other distinguished guests. The ceremony warmly welcomed the new students and highlighted the significance of agricultural education, innovation, and active student engagement, marking the beginning of their academic journey.
